Pashinyan called for opposing forces that are against peace with Azerbaijan
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan called for confronting political forces in parliament that oppose the normalization of relations between Baku and Yerevan.
As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to Armenian media, the head of government made this statement while speaking at the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia.
"Now the so-called three-headed war party is questioning this peace agreement (with Azerbaijan - ed.). It turns out that there is a force in the Armenian parliament that does not accept the architecture of peace. This creates threats and provokes direct reactions. We must see these cause-and-effect relationships and confront them," the prime minister noted.
By the "three-headed war party," Pashinyan means three opposition political forces: "Strong Armenia," the "Armenia" bloc, and "Prosperous Armenia."
He added that members of the "Strong Armenia" and "Armenia" blocs who entered parliament through election results are representatives of a spy network and obtained those votes in elections through voter bribery.
"This spy network must be eradicated. Otherwise, they will do everything to revive the conflict and unleash war. We are currently handling the situation confidently, but our people must also understand this," the politician said.
Pashinyan emphasized that any threat to Armenia's future must be eliminated at its very source.
