The next meeting of the Coordination Headquarters was held in Agdere

The policy pursued under the leadership of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev is the foundation of the country's comprehensive development. The adopted strategic documents, state programs, and reforms in various spheres, including agriculture, ensure a unified approach to socio-economic development.

This was stated by the Head of the Presidential Administration of Azerbaijan and the Head of the Coordination Headquarters for the Centralized Resolution of Issues in the Liberated Territories, Samir Nuriyev, at the regular meeting of the headquarters in Aghdara.

According to him, the Great Return process is a key direction of the national strategy and envisions the integration of the liberated territories into the country's economic, social, and institutional system. He noted that the necessary infrastructure has already been established in these territories, and the priority is to ensure sustainable economic and social development in the region.

It was noted that the implementation of the I State Program on the Great Return is nearing completion, and preparations for the II program are underway. Samir Nuriyev emphasized the importance of the agricultural potential of the liberated territories, the efficient use of land and water resources, the expansion of production and processing, as well as ensuring employment.

The importance of aligning these measures with the 2026–2030 State Program for the Development of Agricultural Production and Processing, Fisheries, and Aquaculture was also emphasized.

It was separately noted that the sustainable development of the liberated territories depends on ensuring employment of the population, creating jobs, and expanding opportunities for economic activity. Issues of environmental sustainability and water resource management were discussed, including ecosystem restoration and modernization of the water sector.

Reports on work in the fields of agriculture, employment, ecology, and water resources were then heard. The need for the accelerated integration of the liberated territories into the country's socio-economic development and the consistent improvement of the population's well-being was emphasized.

After the meeting, participants familiarized themselves with the master plan of the city of Aghdara and development projects, as well as agricultural and industrial projects in the Aghdara and Khojaly districts.

In the village of Chayli in the Aghdara district, they were presented with the work at the intensive fruit orchard of Frutti Aqro LLC and the Damirli enrichment complex. A mulberry garden in the village of Dashbulag in the Khojaly district, the livestock complex of Qoç Ət LLC, and other agricultural projects were also inspected.

The regular meeting of the Coordination Headquarters for the Centralized Resolution of Issues in the Liberated Territories was held in Aghdara, chaired by the Head of the Headquarters, Head of the Presidential Administration of Azerbaijan Samir Nuriyev.

As Report informs, it was noted at the meeting that the implementation of the I State Program of the Great Return is being completed, and intensive work on the II State Program is underway.

In addition, special attention at the meeting was given to the agricultural potential of the liberated territories – the efficient use of land and water resources, the expansion of production, and the creation of permanent jobs.

Issues of environmental sustainability and water resource management in the liberated territories were also discussed. The importance of linking the measures envisioned by the 2026-2030 State Program for Agricultural Sector Development with activities under the Great Return program was emphasized.
