President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko during negotiations with Russian leader Vladimir Putin in the Kremlin proposed that "Rosatom" build another nuclear power plant (NPP) in the republic.
According to "Kommersant," the negotiations between the leaders began in a tête-à-tête format and lasted just over an hour, after which a meeting in an expanded format took place.
Deputy Prime Minister Viktor Karankevich, Foreign Minister Maxim Ryzhenkov, as well as the heads of the ministries of finance, industry, and energy joined the discussion from the Belarusian side.
During the meeting, the leaders discussed bilateral relations, the international agenda, as well as the situation surrounding the Russian-Ukrainian conflict.
