A foreigner who attempted to fly from Azerbaijan to France using a forged passport has been convicted
A foreigner who attempted to illegally fly from Azerbaijan to France was detained.
As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to Oxu.Az, the incident occurred at Baku airport. A citizen of the Kingdom of Morocco, Arrazigui Al Hussein, purchased a forged passport in order to illegally enter France. To do so, he decided to first travel from Turkey to Azerbaijan and then proceed to France.
After spending several days in Baku, the man bought a ticket and returned to the airport. During inspection at the checkpoint, it was discovered that he intended to travel abroad using a forged document. He was detained.
A criminal case has been opened regarding this incident. A preventive measure in the form of detention was imposed on Arrazigui Al Hussein.
By the decision of the Khazar District Court, he was sentenced to seven months of imprisonment.
