In Kazakhstan, a man shot a nail into his head and survived

In Kazakhstan, a man miraculously survived after accidentally shooting a nail into his head during repairs, reports the Nur.kz portal.

The incident occurred in Petropavlovsk. A 51-year-old local resident went to the city emergency hospital with a wound behind his ear. As it turned out, while conducting repair work, he accidentally received an injury - a nail was shot into him from a pneumatic gun.

An X-ray showed that the metal object passed just a few millimeters from the cervical spine. Doctors emphasized that the man was incredibly lucky: neither vital organs nor major blood vessels were affected.

Surgeons extracted the nail, treated the wound, and sutured it. After the operation, the patient was released home with necessary recommendations. Doctors reminded that any injuries in the neck area are extremely dangerous because important arteries, nerves, airways, and the spinal cord pass through there.
