President: An independent country should not be lectured on how to live, what to do and what not to do
Double standards are also related to someone trying to lecture you about your way of life. Before doing so, it wouldn't hurt to look in the mirror and ask whether I have the right to lecture anyone.
As reported by AZERTAC, President Ilham Aliyev stated this in his speech at the 7th World Forum on Intercultural Dialogue.
The head of state noted that an independent country should not be lectured on how to live, what to do and what not to do. "We know that. We should focus more on our own affairs. What happens in other countries is the business of those people, those nations; it is not our business."
