VIDEO of violators who stopped escalators in the Baku metro

During the first two months of 2025, escalators in the Baku metro stopped 534 times due to passenger fault, reports Baku Metro CJSC.

The main reason was unjustified activation of the STOP button - in 336 cases passengers pressed it unnecessarily.

There were also 129 cases of falls on escalators, 7 of which resulted in injuries of varying severity.

Another 69 stops occurred due to passengers' belongings getting caught in escalator elements.
