Ronaldo was presented with the award before the Nations League match against Denmark. The Portuguese set this record on November 15, 2024, in a Nations League game against Poland (5:1).
The 40-year-old Ronaldo has 132 victories with the Portugal national team. It took Ronaldo 215 matches to reach this mark.
The forward is ahead of Spaniards Sergio Ramos (131 victories in 180 matches) and Iker Casillas (121 victories in 167 games).
