One of the three missing underage friends in Baku has still not been found.

According to information received by Oxu.Az, the parents of this girl have not contacted law enforcement agencies to search for her.

Recall that of the three underage friends who left home and did not return, one was found on March 23, and another on March 24.

One of the three missing underage friends in Baku has been placed in a shelter.

This was reported to Oxu.Az by the chairwoman of the Azerbaijan Children's Union, Kamala Aghazade.

She noted that the minor was brought to the shelter on March 24.

"The girl, at the parent's (mother's) request, with the participation of law enforcement agencies, was placed in a shelter. Approximately 7-10 days is her adaptation period. After the girl adapts, she will adjust to rehabilitation. Working with the child is our task. We are also working in this direction," she said.

The chairwoman clarified the reason for the girl's escape from home.

"Why does a child run away from home? Naturally, due to a lack of parental attention. This leads to behavioral problems in the child. Lack of control, willfulness - at the core of all this are family values. This is an issue related to the family," noted the chairwoman.

She said she cannot provide information about what the girl experienced.

"We cannot provide information about what events happened to her. An investigation is currently underway. The girl is going through an adaptation period. In a week, the results of the investigation, if they become investigative material, will be transferred to the investigation. Otherwise, information will also be provided," said the chairwoman.

K. Aghazade reported that the minor who has still not been found was brought to their shelter 2 years ago.

"In 2023, a girl named Ophelia, who has still not been found, was directed by the police along with her mother to our shelter. The parent said she did not want to leave her here. She would take her and bring her back. The mother brought the girl for one day, but then never brought her back," added K. Aghazade.

Recall that on March 22, information spread that three underage friends left home five days ago and never returned. On March 23, one of the girls was found, and on March 24, another one.
