The tenth Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix attracted thousands of foreign visitors to Baku, highlighting the growing impact of the race on tourism, the service sector, employment, and the local economy.

This was reported by Euronews in a feature dedicated to the anniversary race in the Azerbaijani capital.

"The race weekend has become one of the key events on Baku's tourism calendar, attracting foreign guests and triggering a surge of activity in the hospitality industry, retail trade, and other service sectors. The tenth Azerbaijan Grand Prix also highlighted the contrast between the modern street circuit and the historic Old City," the channel noted.

The authors of the report recalled that over the four days of the event, more than 92,000 attendances were recorded, including over 17,000 international fans who watched the race live from the grandstands.

It was also noted that tickets for the Grand Prix were purchased by spectators from more than 120 countries, and thousands of staff members, volunteers, and marshals were involved in organizing the competition, which amplified the overall economic and tourism impact of the event.
