US President Donald Trump revealed the true purpose of the mysterious red button installed on his desk in the Oval Office of the White House. As it turned out, the device is used to order Diet Coke. The head of state shared this information in an interview with Fox journalist Laura Ingraham.

During the conversation with the press representative, the American leader demonstrated how the mysterious mechanism works by approaching his desk and pressing the red button. "They say if I press it, the world will end," Trump joked, responding to Ingraham's request to show her the "Coke button."

Notably, this device was installed in the Oval Office immediately after Trump's inauguration. The button was already present in the president's workspace during his previous term, but was subsequently removed by former US President Joe Biden. According to The Wall Street Journal, in addition to the return of the famous button, the interior of the Oval Office has also been enhanced with silver eagle figurines placed above the fireplace.
