The President of SOCAR participated in an international OPEC seminar

President of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) Rovshan Najaf participated in the 9th international seminar of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC), held in Vienna, the capital of Austria.
As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to SOCAR, within the framework of the seminar, which brought together the world's leading energy companies and became an important platform for discussing the global energy agenda, the president of the State Oil Company participated in a number of events and held bilateral meetings.
Speaking at a high-level round table on "Policy and Regulation: A Fair and Realistic Energy Future," R. Najaf emphasized the importance of implementing energy transition taking into account the national conditions and economic potential of each country. He elaborated on Azerbaijan's modern energy strategy and the measures taken by SOCAR to ensure energy security and sustainable development.
During the seminar, Rovshan Najaf held bilateral meetings with TotalEnergies CEO Patrick Pouyanné, Halliburton Board Chairman Jeff Miller, Crescent Petroleum CEO Majid Jafar, and OQEP CEO Ahmed Al Azkawi. The meetings examined opportunities for cooperation in various areas of the energy sector and exchanged views on jointly implemented projects.
