A tourist was scratched by a stray cat in Thailand and nearly lost her life

A British tourist was scratched by a stray cat while traveling in Thailand with a friend and nearly lost her life due to a dangerous disease. This was reported by the Daily Mail.
It is specified that 19-year-old Izzy Sampson was on the street when a frightened cat ran across her leg and rushed away. As a result, the girl had a minor scratch on her finger, but there was a high risk that the animal was infected with rabies.
The tourist went to the hospital, where they first injected antibodies directly into the wound, and then gave her a rabies vaccine. The girl decided not to interrupt her journey, so the remaining three vaccinations were administered in other Thai hospitals, as well as in Indonesia.
