In Dagestan, more than 300 people were poisoned by water

In Dagestan, the number of people affected by acute intestinal infection continues to grow. According to the latest data from the republic's ministry of health, the number of cases has reached 302 people, with the vast majority - 294 people - being children.
All victims sought medical help at the Magaramkent Central District Hospital. Yesterday, 274 cases of poisoning were reported, but the number of cases has increased over the past day.
As clarified by the republican ministry of health, there are no severe cases among the patients, and the condition of all affected individuals is gradually improving. According to data as of July 10, three patients have already been discharged from the medical facility.
Currently, 93 people continue to receive inpatient treatment. Representatives of the department assured that the hospital is fully equipped with all necessary resources both for treating patients and for conducting preventive measures to prevent further spread of the infection in the outbreak areas.
