In Baku, a pregnant woman and her husband were found dead in their home

A 32-year-old Arif Gurbanov and his wife Ayten Gurbanova, who was eight months pregnant, were found lifeless in a private house in the Bulbula settlement of Surakhani district of Baku.

As reported by Baku.ws with reference to Xazar TV, the tragic discovery was made by relatives who came to visit the family. They immediately called emergency services, but the arriving medical team only confirmed the death of the couple. The cause of the tragedy was carbon monoxide poisoning.

According to relatives, the couple had long dreamed of having a child, and the news of the upcoming addition was a joyful event for them. However, the tragedy occurred two weeks before the expected delivery.

Arif Gurbanov voluntarily participated in the Second Karabakh War and was awarded the medals "For the Liberation of Gubadli" and "Participant of the Patriotic War".

Currently, the Surakhani district prosecutor's office is investigating the incident.
