SOCAR and Chinese CC7 discussed prospects for cooperation in oil and petrochemical sectors

The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) and Chinese company China National Chemical Engineering & Construction Corporation Seven (CC7) discussed in Baku opportunities for cooperation in the oil and petrochemical industry.
This was reported by BAKU.WS with reference to SOCAR's statement.
"SOCAR President Rovshan Najaf met with a delegation headed by CC7 Board Chairman Long Haiyang. They discussed opportunities for cooperation in the oil and petrochemical industry both in Azerbaijan and in third countries," the information states.
It is noted that at the meeting, SOCAR's areas of activity in the energy sector were presented, as well as information about the company's strategic projects implemented in Azerbaijan and abroad.
It should be noted that CC7 is a subsidiary of China National Chemical Engineering Group Corporation (CNCEC), one of China's largest EPC contractors. Founded in 1964 and headquartered in Chengdu, CC7 corporation operates in chemical and non-chemical spheres in Asia, the Middle East, and Africa.
