Three-year-old girl with 15-centimeter knife in her head rescued in China

Chinese doctors provided assistance to a three-year-old girl who was brought to the hospital with a knife in her head. This was reported by the South China Morning Post.
The incident occurred when the three-year-old girl's mother was changing the bedding. The woman accidentally swung the sheet and hit a knife. The blade pierced the child's head and got stuck.
The girl's mother tried to remove the knife herself, but she was unsuccessful. The family did not call emergency services; instead, the woman and her daughter walked to the hospital. Doctors were able to successfully extract the 15 cm long knife. The victim's condition is assessed as stable by doctors, and police have ruled the incident an accident.
