Hundreds of trucks with Armenian fruits turned away at the Russian border

Russian border authorities refused to allow agricultural products exported from Armenia to pass through.

According to information distributed by Armenian media, hundreds of trucks loaded with plums, peaches, and grapes were forced to turn back.

The Russian side justified their actions by citing the products' non-compliance with phytosanitary standards.

A deputy from the "Armenia" faction in the Armenian parliament, Garnik Danielyan, stated that the current situation is not only economic in nature but also political.
