An earthquake has occurred in another country

An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.4 occurred in southern Myanmar, near the city of Yangon.

This was reported by the Meteorological Department of Thailand.

According to the department, the epicenter was at a depth of 10 km in the Andaman Sea. Weaker tremors were registered in the area of the city of Naypyidaw. No information about destruction or casualties has been reported.

According to the Thairath newspaper, eyewitnesses reported feeling tremors in high-rise buildings in the central part of Bangkok.
