In Turkey, a minibus with schoolchildren was involved in a traffic accident: 2 people died, 10 were injured

As a result of a collision between a minibus carrying schoolchildren and a truck in the Erdemli district of Turkey's Mersin province, two people died and 10 were injured.

Police, ambulance, and gendarmerie personnel were dispatched to the scene.

The injured were transported by ambulances to local hospitals.

According to information, the cause of the incident was that the bus driver fell asleep at the wheel.
