Our approach to investments goes beyond simply attracting capital.

As reported by BAKU.WS, this is stated in the address of President Ilham Aliyev to the participants of the 2nd Azerbaijan International Investment Forum, which began its work on September 25.

"We value technologies, expertise, innovations, and access to new markets, and we strive for partnerships that create sustainable value for investors while simultaneously strengthening the modernization and competitiveness of Azerbaijan's economy. The 2nd Azerbaijan International Investment Forum serves as an important platform for developing these partnerships," the address notes.

The address also emphasizes that the results of the 1st Azerbaijan International Investment Forum clearly demonstrated the growing interest in Azerbaijan. "Last year, investment agreements worth over 10 billion US dollars were signed, of which more than 7 billion were in the non-oil sector. This year, the geography of participation has expanded even further: the forum features international organizations, investors, and leading companies in even greater numbers, which testifies both to the confidence in Azerbaijan and to the growing economic significance of the entire region as a whole. I expect that within the framework of the 2nd Azerbaijan International Investment Forum, significant investment projects will be launched with the participation of international investors and partner companies," the address states.

President Ilham Aliyev expressed confidence that the discussions in Baku will lead to the emergence of concrete initiatives and the establishment of long-term cooperation, contributing to the strengthening of economic ties, the expansion of integration, and shared prosperity across the entire region.
