On the initiative of Leyla Aliyeva, Novruz celebration was held for children in Khizi district

On March 21, a celebration on the occasion of Novruz holiday was organized for children and local residents in Khizi district at the initiative of the Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, founder and head of IDEA Public Union Leyla Aliyeva.

As IDEA told BAKU.WS, the main characters of the Novruz holiday, one of the ancient traditions of the Azerbaijani people, Kosa, Kechal and Bahar gizi entertained the children and danced together around the festive bonfire.

Throughout the celebration, drummers, DJs and animators conducted various entertainment programs for the participants, creating a festive atmosphere. Dancers performed dances to the sounds of national music, schoolchildren recited poems dedicated to the holiday, and demonstrated their skills and abilities in various games and competitions.

At the conclusion of the event, holiday gifts were given to the children.
