Hikmet Hajiyev met with UK officials

Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan - Head of the Foreign Policy Department of the Presidential Administration Hikmet Hajiyev met in London with the UK's Minister of State for Europe, North America and Overseas Territories Stephen Doughty.

As BAKU.WS reports, this was announced by Azerbaijan's Ambassador to the United Kingdom Elin Suleymanov on his X social media account.

The meeting discussed deepening bilateral cooperation between Azerbaijan and the United Kingdom.

Hikmet Hajiyev also held a meeting with the UK's National Security Advisor Jonathan Powell.

"The meeting held productive discussions on strengthening the Azerbaijani-British bilateral partnership and regional developments," the message states.
