Delegation headed by Shahin Mustafayev held important meetings in Iran

A delegation headed by Azerbaijan's Deputy Prime Minister Shahin Mustafayev held extended meetings with officials of the Islamic Republic of Iran during a visit to the country.

As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan, during the meetings, the very positive impact of the sincere relations established between the heads of state on the development of bilateral ties and the acceleration of joint project implementation was emphasized.

During the visit, at a meeting with the Speaker of the Iranian Parliament Mohammad Ghalibaf, the important role of parliaments in the implementation of joint initiatives put forward by our countries and the further deepening of mutual ties was noted.

The delegation then met with the Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council Mohsen Rezaei, and current issues on the bilateral agenda were discussed.

During the visit, the delegation held productive discussions with Iran's Minister of Oil Mohsen Paknejad and Minister of Energy Abbas Aliabadi, projects of significant importance for the economies of both countries were reviewed, and cooperation prospects were assessed.
