Azerbaijan and North Macedonia have canceled visas for certain citizens
The Milli Majlis ratified an agreement between Azerbaijan and North Macedonia on exempting holders of diplomatic and service/official passports from mutual visa requirements.
As Oxu.Az reports, the corresponding bill was submitted for discussion at today's plenary session of the extraordinary parliamentary session.
According to the document, citizens of one contracting party who hold valid diplomatic and service/official passports can enter, transit through, exit, and stay in the territory of the other contracting party without obtaining a visa for a period not exceeding 90 days within 180 days from the date of each entry.
After discussions, the bill on ratification of the agreement was put to a vote and adopted in the first and only reading.
Note that the "Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the Republic of North Macedonia on visa exemption for holders of diplomatic and service/official passports" was signed on March 12, 2025, in Baku.
