A well-known Russian TV presenter has spoken out about beatings by her ex-husband

Well-known Russian TV presenter Anastasia Tregubova announced her divorce from her husband Alexander. She also spoke about instances of domestic violence by her ex-husband.

As reported by BAKU.WS citing The Voice, Tregubova stated in an interview with the magazine "Antenna - Telesem" that her husband had repeatedly physically assaulted her and attempted to strangle her. According to the TV presenter, after one such episode, she was unable to speak for two weeks, and her voice changed.

Tregubova claims that as a result of domestic violence, she suffered damage to her eardrum and retina. In addition, she accused her ex-husband of psychological abuse.

According to the TV presenter, her husband restricted her social circle and smashed her phones. She had not previously spoken publicly about what was happening in the family, as she feared it could negatively affect the children.

Tregubova also stated that her ex-husband continues to put pressure on her.

Anastasia Tregubova married entrepreneur Alexander in 2006. The couple had four children during their marriage.
