President of SOCAR met with the Chairman of the Board of CC7

President of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) Rovshan Najaf met with the Chairman of the Board of China National Chemical Engineering Corporation (CC7) Long Haiyang, as well as representatives of the China Development Bank and the Institute of International Energy Economics under the China International Culture Exchange Center.

As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to SOCAR, it was noted at the meeting that the developing strategic partnership between Azerbaijan and China in various spheres, including energy and investments, creates favorable conditions for expanding cooperation between SOCAR, Chinese companies, and financial institutions.

During the conversation, the guests were informed about SOCAR's development strategy, ongoing energy projects, and projects planned for the future.

The parties discussed cooperation in various areas of the energy sector, including refining and petrochemicals, modernization of production facilities, development of green energy, innovations, and digitalization.
