President of the United States Donald Trump during a press conference avoided answering the question about whether Washington would impose new sanctions against Moscow due to the Ukrainian conflict.

"We have already imposed sanctions against Russia. I imposed them, if you remember, 'Nord Stream 2'. <...> I stopped it," said the American leader.

Then journalists again asked about possible new restrictions against Russia, but Trump continued to talk about the gas pipeline, criticized his predecessor Joe Biden, and then shifted his attention to the next reporter.
