Scientists warn: geomagnetic disturbances expected from mid-March

Increased geomagnetic activity possible on Earth from March 14.
As reported by BAKU.WS, this was announced by the Solar Astronomy Laboratory of the Space Research Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
Scientists emphasized that an increase in the density and speed of the solar wind cannot be ruled out. In this regard, moderate disturbances of the magnetic field are predicted, which with a probability of 20-30% may lead to weak magnetic storms.
We remind you that the planet's magnetic field has remained stable for the second day and is in a calm state.
Earlier, scientists noted the ejection of the largest plasma cloud toward the Sun in 2025. The source of this phenomenon may be the same active region that generated the highest class X2.0 flare in February.
It is worth noting that magnetic storms affect both technical systems and human health. They are believed to cause headaches, increased blood pressure, insomnia, and general fatigue, especially in weather-sensitive people. In addition, chronic diseases of the cardiovascular and nervous systems may worsen.
At the technical level, magnetic storms can disable satellites, radio communications, and navigation systems.
Despite possible negative consequences, magnetic storms also create a beautiful natural phenomenon - the aurora borealis. It is observed near the poles and occurs when charged particles interact with the upper layers of Earth's atmosphere.
