Russia officially recognized the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan.
As reported by BAKU.WS, the Russian Foreign Ministry informed TASS about this.
"The Foreign Ministry confirms," - the diplomatic department indicated, commenting on the information about the recognition of the state.
Earlier it was reported that the flag of Afghanistan introduced by the "Taliban" was displayed over the embassy in Moscow for the first time since the movement came to power in 2021.
