In 2024, Ukraine received military aid worth $50 billion from NATO countries, and in 2025 the volume of weapons supplies is planned to increase.

As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to Corriere della Sera, this was stated by the chairman of the NATO Military Committee, Admiral Giuseppe Cavo Dragone.

"In 2024, the volume of aid transferred reached $50 billion. As of January 1, 2025, $33 billion has already been transferred, but by the end of the year we plan to reach last year's level. The forecasts are very optimistic," noted Dragone.

He emphasized that NATO countries will continue military support for Ukraine and intend to increase its volume. "The Ukrainian army is an example for Europe. NATO always confirms that our full support for Ukraine remains unchanged until a just and long-term peace is achieved," added the admiral.

In addition, Ukrainian Defense Minister Denis Shmyhal reported that the US and NATO have launched a new mechanism of military aid to Ukraine – the Prioritized Ukraine Requirements List (PURL) initiative. This program is being implemented as part of agreements between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, US President Donald Trump, and NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte.
