Man with weapon seizes McDonald's in Ukraine
In Cherkasy (Ukraine) during the day on August 7, a man with a weapon seized a McDonald's restaurant. Sounds of gunfire were heard in the food establishment.
This is reported by BAKU.WS with reference to Ren TV.
According to the sources of the publication, visitors were evacuated from the food establishment where the shooter broke in: "The wounded man is the attacker. He injured himself. His wife was brought in for negotiations with him. We are investigating what his demands were."
The offender who opened fire turned out to be a local resident born in 1992 with the surname Boyarshinov. According to sources on the website of the Defense Forces, he is a serviceman who fired from an unidentified weapon.
At the moment, he has been hospitalized, sources in law enforcement agencies told Interfax-Ukraine.
"This person locked himself in the toilet and inflicted injuries on himself. He is now hospitalized," the agency's source said.
Apart from him, no one else was injured.
