Trump: Plumber Who Watched Shows About Air Crashes Saved Flydubai Plane

US President Donald Trump told a story about the rescue of a Flydubai passenger airliner. According to the American leader, the aircraft was stabilized thanks to a passenger who had never piloted a plane before.

As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to Fox News, this story was told to Trump by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. The American president noted that the passenger turned out to be an Israeli plumber with virtually no flying experience.

During the flight, the man, according to Trump, realized that the situation on board was getting out of control. Without any special flight training, he took the controls and managed to level the aircraft.

When asked how he could have known how to operate the aircraft, the passenger cited the TV show "Air Crash Investigation." The man said he frequently watched the series and that it gave him a general understanding of what to do in such situations.

According to Trump, it was precisely this knowledge that helped the passenger stabilize the flight and prevent the emergency situation from escalating further.
