Journalist accidentally added to White House secret chat

The editor-in-chief of The Atlantic, Jeffrey Goldberg, was accidentally added to a secret White House chat where US administration representatives were discussing strikes against the Houthis in Yemen.
He told this to the Daily Mail.
According to J. Goldberg, he was added to a Signal messenger chat called "Houthis PC tight group" by White House national security advisor Mike Waltz. As the journalist noted, later an "exciting political discussion" began.
J. Goldberg stated that US Vice President JD Vance was against President Donald Trump's decision about the strikes and suggested postponing them for a month, as they did not align with the American leader's message to Europe.
Meanwhile, Pentagon chief Pete Hegseth supported the strikes, and also reported that he "fully shares Vance's disgust with European freeloading," referring to Europe benefiting from US military protection of shipping routes.
