Several coronal mass ejections are heading toward Earth, which are expected to cause a magnetic storm today and tomorrow.

According to The Watchers publication, two ejections occurred on the Sun on October 13 and are moving toward our planet.

According to forecast models, they will reach Earth by approximately midday on October 17. However, specialists warn that the impact could occur earlier, as the new ejections interact with previous ones coming from the same active region.

"Four solar storms are simultaneously heading toward Earth, while an impressive plasma ejection is being observed from the eastern edge of the Sun," said space weather physicist Dr. Tamita Skov.

The geomagnetic field reached level G1 (weak storm) on the morning of October 13 and has remained unstable since then.

It is noted that these magnetic storms may cause enhanced auroras and disruptions in shortwave radio communications.
