Brother of Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu has passed away
The brother of former Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, businessman Aydın Çavuşoğlu, passed away 12 days after a gunshot wound incident in Alanya.
As reported by BAKU.WS citing Turkish media, Aydın Çavuşoğlu was found with a gunshot wound on May 5 in his office in Alanya.
The 52-year-old businessman was taken to the hospital in critical condition. Despite the efforts of doctors, he passed away today.
The local prosecutor's office is still continuing the investigation into the incident, and no details have been disclosed.
It should be noted that Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu currently heads the Turkish parliamentary delegation to NATO.
