Ekrem Imamoglu removed from office

Mayor of Istanbul Ekrem Imamoglu has been suspended from office.

As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to Haber Global, this was announced by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Turkey.

According to the information, along with E.Imamoglu, the heads of the Beylikduzu and Sisli municipalities, who were arrested as part of the investigation, have also been suspended.

It is noted that this decision is a temporary measure and will be in effect for the duration of the investigation.
