The venue for "Formula 1" in Baku may be changed - VIDEO
The venue for the Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix may be changed in the future.
This was announced by the owner of Sea Breeze, president of Agalarov Development company Emin Agalarov, on his Instagram account.
Agalarov stated that the construction of a Formula 1 circuit on the territory of Sea Breeze has been under discussion for a long time. According to him, the implementation of such a project requires serious preparation and large-scale work.
The businessman noted that to this end, contact is being maintained with Tilke, a company specializing in the design of Formula 1 circuits.
According to Emin Agalarov, if a circuit and the necessary infrastructure around it can be built by 2030-2031, then theoretically the Formula 1 races could be relocated to Sea Breeze.
