An activist of the Azerbaijani diaspora died in Ukraine
Azerbaijani diaspora activist, architect, and former politician Nazim Binnatov has died in Ukraine.
As BAKU.WS reports with reference to Report, the 70-year-old Azerbaijani died after a prolonged illness in Ivano-Frankivsk.
Nazim Mirza oglu Binnatov was born in the Tovuz region of Azerbaijan. In the late 1990s and early 2000s, he was an active participant in the political movement in Western Ukraine.
N.Binnatov founded the Congress of Azerbaijanis of Ivano-Frankivsk. The chairman of the organization, Matlab Najafov, reported that the body of the deceased was sent for burial to the Tovuz region.
