American journalist Alec Luhn survived for six days in the Norwegian wilderness after falling in the mountains, eating grass and even drinking urine. This was reported by the Washington Post.

According to the newspaper, on July 31, Luhn set out on a hike to a glacier in Folgefonna National Park. On the first day of the hike, the sole of his boot came off, but he continued on his way. Later, he stumbled and hit a rock, losing consciousness and only waking up the next day with a severe leg injury.

The journalist said that he lost his phone and most of his food, but he still had a sleeping bag, raincoat, and a small snack. The weather was clear for the first few days, and Luhn built a shelter by wrapping himself in his sleeping bag. After two days, due to lack of water, he began to experience severe thirst and was forced to drink urine to survive.

Luhn's wife reported him missing only on August 4, after which a rescue team was dispatched to search for him. Due to rain and wind, the search was complicated, and the journalist was only found two days later. At the hospital, he was diagnosed with a broken leg and frostbite.

The journalist's wife noted that she is confident in his desire to continue hiking, but now they should only be done with accompaniment.
