As Oxu.az reports, for the first time in history, the qualifying session was interrupted six times by red flags. The red flags during the qualifying session were caused by consecutive crashes of Alex Albon, Nico Hulkenberg, Franco Colapinto, Oliver Bearman, Charles Leclerc, and Oscar Piastri.
As a reminder, the pole position following the qualifying in Baku went to the four-time world champion Red Bull driver Max Verstappen. Williams driver Carlos Sainz will join him on the front row in tomorrow's race.
