Why was the quarantine extended in Azerbaijan?

In Azerbaijan, the special quarantine regime has been extended again. The corresponding decision was signed by Prime Minister Ali Asadov.
Thus, the quarantine regime will continue until July 1.
The reason for the extension of quarantine raises interest, as the pandemic has long been declared over.
As reported by BAKU.WS, Milli Mejlis deputy Elshad Musayev in his comment for Modern.az stated that the main reason for extending the quarantine period is related to security:
"I have also been dealing with this issue. The extension of the quarantine period is related to the security issue. Our issues with the Armenians are not resolved. On the other hand, there is the Iranian issue, entry into the country from outside. The main issue is the security of our country."
