Rafael Fiziev named UFC lightweights with the most powerful punch

Azerbaijani UFC fighter Rafael Fiziev shared his opinion about his lightweight division competitors in an interview with Home of Fight.

As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to Oxu.Az, Fiziev is expected to have his next fight against Charles Oliveira at the UFC tournament in Brazil on October 12.

Answering the question about which of his opponents hit the hardest, the athlete named Justin Gaethje and Rafael Dos Anjos.

"Justin Gaethje, he painted my face. Plus Rafael Dos Anjos. This guy also hits very hard. I remember seeing stars in front of my eyes after his strikes.

I can hit hard myself. They say Topuria has a strong punch, but this guy relies on boxing, while I'm a kickboxer. I think I have enough power to knock out Oliveira. And I don't think Charles will be different after being knocked out by Topuria. They say fighters don't return to their previous level after such defeats. In my opinion, age and absorbed strikes are more important in MMA than knockouts," said Fiziev.
