Russian singer Philipp Kirkorov, who was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes, fell right during his performance on stage.

Video of the 58-year-old artist's fall appeared in Russian Telegram channels. It is known that the incident occurred at the New Wave Hall concert venue in Kazan (Tatarstan), during the opening of the "New Wave" festival.

The singer fell to his side and "flew" to the floor when he tried to climb the steps set up for the concert number. He was lifted from the stage by his arms, but he continued to stagger for several more seconds. After this, they decided to abandon the use of the stairs.

Earlier, media reported that due to his illness, Kirkorov experiences pronounced weakness, constant thirst, and has "cotton" legs. This led to the temporary cancellation of concerts until February 2026.
