The head of the Azerbaijani diaspora in Chelyabinsk region has been stripped of Russian citizenship

Businessman Hankishiev Arshad Ady oglu, known as a major trader of vegetables and fruits, restaurateur and founder of companies LLC "Fruktdom", LLC "Fruit-House", LLC "Nar Sharab" and LLC "Caspiy", held the position of president of the Chelyabinsk regional social and legal public organization "Azerbaijan" and headed the Public organization "Regional national-cultural autonomy of Azerbaijanis of the Chelyabinsk region" (AZERCHEL).

As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to Russian media, the reason was the accusation of the businessman in "propaganda of ethno-separatism and support for Alexei Navalny".

Note that CHOSPOO "Azerbaijan" was recently liquidated by court decision. Earlier, a similar decision was made regarding the AZERCHEL organization.
