The State Agency of Automobile Roads of Azerbaijan (SAARA) is carrying out reconstruction work on a section of Suleyman Vezirov Street (from the intersection with Khagani Rustamov Street to Babek Avenue) as part of the "Ag Sheher" road infrastructure projects.

As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to SAARA, the length of the street section being reconstructed is 1,100 m, with a roadway width of 14 m.

During the works, road surface milling has already been completed. For the convenience and safety of pedestrians, existing sidewalks are being repaired and new ones are being built where necessary. New 5-meter-wide pedestrian paths covered with decorative tiles (tamet) are being constructed along the street. In addition, special parking spaces with a width of 2.5 m are being created for comfortable and safe vehicle parking.

In accordance with the requirements of "Construction Norms and Regulations," a new asphalt concrete pavement will be laid, traffic lights and signal posts will be installed to organize convenient and safe vehicle movement, necessary road signs will be placed, and road markings, indicators, and pedestrian crossings will be applied. In the near future, the renovated section of the street with its modern appearance will be put into operation for city residents.
