Azerbaijan and Turkey discussed the development of media cooperation

Chairman of the Azerbaijan Media and Broadcasting Council Ahmed Ismailov met with a delegation headed by Deputy Head of the Department of Communications of the Presidential Administration of Turkey Ferhat Pirinci.

As reported by the Council, at the meeting A. Ismailov emphasized the importance of bilateral cooperation in the field of media and communications.

The parties also expressed a shared opinion on the need to expand partnership in such areas as mutual exchange of experience in the modern information environment, as well as combating disinformation.

During the meeting, the possibilities of a coordinated approach to modern information challenges and other issues of mutual interest were also discussed.
