Mass poisoning occurred at a wedding in Baku

Today, April 19, 32 people (23 females, 9 males) with a diagnosis of "unspecified bacterial food poisoning" were admitted to the emergency and urgent medical care department of the Clinical Medical Center (CMC).
This was reported by the head of the CMC press service Ruzbeh Mamed.
"Patients immediately received medical services, had their stomachs washed, and were examined by an infectious disease specialist. After the necessary medical procedures, they were all released home," he added.

Specialists from the Food Safety Agency of Azerbaijan (FSAA) and employees of the relevant structures have begun investigating the causes of mass poisoning at a banquet hall in Baku.
This was reported by the press service of the FSAA.
It was noted that at the banquet hall where the incident occurred, samples were taken of all food products that were presented for consumption and available during the inspection of the facility.
The investigation is currently ongoing. Additional information about its results will be provided later.
