In three products sold as butter, inconsistencies in composition were found

As part of control measures conducted by the Food Safety Agency of Azerbaijan (FSAA), samples of butter produced by individual Elman Sakhib ogly Imanverdiyev were taken. According to the test results of the samples, plant sterol - "Campesterol" (vegetable oil) was found in batches of products sold as butter, as well as discrepancies in fatty acids (linolenic, palmitic, oleic fatty acids).
As reported by BAKU.WS, this information was distributed by the FSAA.
It is reported that the agency has made a restrictive decision to withdraw the specified batches of products from circulation and recall them from retail chains. Administrative measures have also been taken against the entrepreneur, and mandatory instructions have been given to eliminate the identified deficiencies.
Note that although the identified discrepancies are not related to food safety indicators, they are considered consumer fraud and violation of their rights by the manufacturer in contradiction to legislation. Thus, although the butter packaging claims that it is made from pasteurized cream of natural cow's milk, during the inspection it was found that vegetable oil had been added to the actual composition of the product.
