The competition for admission to the Russian sector of some lyceums and gymnasiums has been canceled

The competition for admission to the first grades of the Russian sector of some lyceums and gymnasiums in Azerbaijan has been canceled due to the number of available places exceeding the number of applications submitted.

This was reported by the Ministry of Science and Education of Azerbaijan.

According to the information, children who have registered are considered admitted to the 1st grade without participating in the competitive selection.

The cancellation of the competitive selection affected the following educational institutions:

- School-Lyceum No. 6 named after Tofik Ismayilov (Baku);

- Secondary School No. 23 named after Tair Hasanov (Baku);

- Educational Complex No. 132-134 (Baku);

- "Zengi" Lyceum (Baku);

- School-Lyceum at Baku Slavic University.
